I’ve re-arranged the sidebar (right) and will tweak this from time to time whilst still in this experimental phase. Still waiting for contributions or comments from HYC members: hyc at humber.co.uk
‘Jesus’ is a common name in Spain. My class have called their teddy ‘Jesus’ and I’m not expecting a visit from the Inquisition any time soon. Modern times, Middle Ages or Dark Ages?
Please note the Blogger version of this blog is only infrequently updated. I only wish WordPress had a decent ‘Blog this’ feature instead of the very clunky ‘Link this’ or ‘PressThis’.
Whilst the mohammed Issue maybe a little overblown if that is the way in which certain groups of people wish to organise their society then so be it! Much the same way as this **** American Spell Check is telling me I can’t spell organise!
Woman made a mistake. Woman got told. point made. end of!
(Wasn’t it her class who made the mistake? Surely the whole class should have received 40 lashes – or their responsible parents?)
Yes they all should be whipped! Excellent!
Usually Even in Non western Countries the ‘Teacher’ is responsible for upholding the Law as Perhaps you should be aware Trevor ex Teacher.
I didn’t know there was a law against naming a teddy Mahomed. There probably isn’t. Meanwhile, whilst the Judge and President may have seen sense (15 days wasn’t too bad in the circumstances), the government of Sudan and its friends continue to commit racial, ethnic and religious mass murder in Darfur. (Moslems against blacks, Christians, women and children, village landowners etc. – at least the Taliban killed their own and only blew up a few priceless Buddhist statues).
